Absurdism: a philosophy based on the belief that the universe is irrational and meaningless and that the search for order brings the individual into conflict with the universe.
There’s a world beyond the everyday in which we live. I am driven to determine whether the planes of existence are coddled in imagination, or do they really exist? Following in the footsteps of Franz Kafka, Lewis Carrol, and Jean-Paul Sartre, I enjoy nontraditional plot structure, purposeless action, and exploring subjective feelings about existence.
Champagne flutes filed with rose colored giggles lined upon a never-ending table have taken over my mind yearning to be sorted into maniacal chaos. Forbidden ghosts intrude fancy soirees swirling at my feet ready to climb into the crevices of my brain. A make-believe reality sitting on the other side of consciousness waiting to be explored. They make guest appearances floating in and out of an effervescent story line. I am an explorer of the art of nuance the game of gallantry and the exploration of a new salon. The old traditions of sociability in a twisted 18th century world. The study of language and the transformative effect it has on us.
Save the color pink. Create a world of imagery that lingers long with the reader like the smell of a disheveled perfume from nights long forgotten.
Archiving a disappearing narrative.
Murky. Twirly. Nonsensical logic. Watch your step, you might get stuck in it forever. A sense of instability and language used in an absurd and unusual ways. To become so involved in the reading that you normalize the incongruities. The mixing of illusion and reality. The construct of consciousness and how essential it is to our survival. I am the pain that hides within you. I am the dark hole you fall into without knowing how you arrived. I am the window you left open a crack to air out the room.
